Office for Mac 2011

Microsoft on Monday announced pricing and availability of Office 2011 for Mac software suite.
Version of the Office suite for Apple Macintosh users is planned for in retail stores in late October, in two editions: Home Business and Office for Mac 2011 and Microsoft Office for Mac Home and Student 2011.

"For a better alignment between platforms," Microsoft said in a statement, "a plan of Office 2011 and the selection of prices more closely with the Office of the edition of Windows operating system."
The software titan also said that people buy Office 2008 for Mac between August 1 and November 30 will be able to upgrade at no additional cost.
Prices start at $ 199 for Office for Mac Home and Business 2011, which includes Mac versions of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Messenger. For customers with two computers, there are multi-pack version for $ 279.
Prices start at $ 119 for Office for Mac Home and Student 2011, which includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Messenger. A Family Pack which allows installation on three Macs will be available for $ 149.
There are also special edition $ 99 for students, faculty and staff in the environment of higher education: Office for Mac, includes the 2011 Academic Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Messenger.
Microsoft says Office 2011 will be available in a dozen languages besides English: Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Spanish and Swedish. These suites will be available in over 100 countries at the end of October.
