Google Maps

Google has launched a feature of the online map in 2005, almost 10 years after the start of the line of MapQuest. Like its competitors, Google Maps allows users to view a map of a particular area and get directions from one place to another. Google Maps allows users to view maps, topographic map of the region or even a satellite view. For some areas, Google also offers a traffic plan that can alert you grunts or obstacles.
Google Maps feature relies on a digital map of NAVTEQ. NAVTEQ provides map data for different clients, including automotive navigation systems in vehicles. A company called deCarta - formerly Telcontar - provides applications that force mapping feature. Google employees to create applications that combine images of capabilities and NAVTEQ mapping provided by deCarta to create features that you see on Google Maps.
In 2008, Google added a new feature of Google Maps. Now you can get to walk from one place to another. Previously, Google Maps does plotted on the road, which must take these things one way street. Now users can find the shortest path between two points of travel.
Sometimes Google's decision did not go well as they had expected. Google Maps Street View feature of Google is a good example. Google special camera mounted on the car, and then transmitted through the towns and cities across the United States and France. The camera pointing in different directions and take a picture a few seconds, giving the user to display a level of particular city street. But some people say that the law violated privacy. Google responded by blurring faces in photos to protect their identity.
